Charity quilts

This year I haven't attended the charity group, Quilts from the Heart, choosing instead to increase my part time work hours and make quilts at home instead.  I do however continue to be the recorder of the groups finished quilts via the blog I set up for them HERE.

I love a good churn dash quilt, so wish I had made this one - isn't it cute!
SEW if you have a cup of coffee in hand and some spare time for show and tell, journey on over to see what the ladies have been up to over the last six months.
I think 42 quilts is a great effort, well done!
Happy quilting, Sue SA
PS normal blogging will resume next week, now that my computer is fixed, the visitors have gone home, the kids are back to school....I am just waiting for two rooms of new carpet to be laid this and then I will have my sewing room/life back on track!

Quilts ready for winter giving

Grab a cup of coffee, as this post is a BIG show and tell!
There has been a big backlog of quilt tops ready and waiting to be quilted, which Elaine has slowly and steady worked her way through.  The end result is 42 quilts and 2 blankets!  These quilts and (donated to us) knitted blankets will be given to a variety of charities, just in time for winter weather.

Phew thats all folks!  Happy quilting on behalf of Quilts from the Heart charity quilting group, Westbourne Park Uniting Church, Adelaide, South Australia.
