Some colourful quilts finished last year.

Sorry I am a bit behind in reporting in on quilts - these were finished last year and were donated to a Domestic Violence shelter and Refugee support centre. I love string quilts, but this colourful example is even better with novelty prints mixed in.
This string quilt looks even better for a bit of pre planning and using the same blue and yellow print through the centre of all the blocks.
This is a not technically a quilt, as it is only two layers (and not quilted) of fleecy fabric, but a great snuggle blanket made from colourful off cuts.
Hexagons all cut as half's by template by Sue Z and pieced by Pam, a fair bit of layout planning happened in this quilt but I am sure you will agree it was worth it!
Happy quilting, Sue.
